0-1What you do

Two Solstice Warriors set out to defeat monsters made by an evil alchemist. Battles are turn-based with timed button presses, and there are no random encounters: enemies are visible on the map.

0-2Who it is for

Fans of classic RPGs and newcomers who want a beautiful, relaxed adventure.

1-1Relics for comfort

Optional relics change the difficulty: more health, automatic timed hits or extra rewards. Use them freely; they are meant to make the game fit you.

2-1No random battles

Every enemy is visible, and most can be avoided. Combined with frequent saves, it never wastes your time.

3-1The look

The pixel art and lighting are some of the best ever made. Sunsets and water reflections are worth stopping for.

Power-ups

  • Stunning pixel art
  • No random encounters
  • Relics to tune difficulty

Debuffs

  • Story starts slowly
  • Combat is easy on default settings

Hint

Rest at campfires before bosses. The conversations there are worth it too.

Final word

The most beautiful pixel RPG of its generation, and a very gentle one.
